Hi, Dear friends!! The newer version PEnGUIn Encoder M4V 0.99b2 & MP4 0.98b5 were just released. In the version, there is no longer a need to setup binaries. Also, the mencoder/MP4Box for Intel is built with the latest source code with x86_64 support. Please use the right download section to get the application.

It seems that the b5 version could not convert video files that can be played on PSP1000 (The default settings was used, 480x272). However I could convert a file that can play on my PSP from b3 version...
It is likely something need to be fixed..

I do not know what I am doing wrong with your MP4box build.
I cannot extract the video track:
$ MP4Box -single 1 movie.avi
Please specify trackID to export
Error: Bad Parameter
Yet, info does get info on a track 1:
$ MP4Box -info 1 movie.avi
Import probing results for track movie.avi#1:
Track type: Video (XVID)
Source: XVID 560x240 @ 23.976 FPS
Import Capabilities:
Can use data referencing
Can use fixed FPS import
Can override source frame rate

Have you ever tried
$ MP4Box -raw 1 movie.avi
About option -single, it means extract and than put the track in mp4 container, some video format might not support by the process.
Hello, I can't find any compatible mode for my Ipod Touch 2G. No Alert in ITunes, but no movie tranferred when I sync.
compatibility might be broken with new binaries...

Sorry. I used the last versions. Re-downloaded, reinstalled, still doesn't sync with iTouch v2. Tried command-line tests (I add volnorm for the sound and unsharp=lc3x3:1 when downscale)
Perhaps an encoding option... (handbrake still works fine)
For the latest version, there is no need to install binary anymore. Maybe use "remove" function first in help to remove binary first.
